Gentle Yoga with Reiki
This is a private session that begins with Reiki and ends with Reiki which is a wonderful addition to Gentle Yoga Therapy. You will experience a gentle flow yoga session mixed with restorative Yin Yoga.
The intention is to take yoga back to its' roots. Learning to focus on your breath, prepare your mind for meditation and ignite your body's natural relaxation response.
What does relaxation response mean?
Relaxation response is defined as your personal ability to encourage your body to release chemicals and brain signals that make your muscles and organs slow down and increase blood flow to the brain…. A decreased relaxation response can make you feel as though it's hard to relax.
This is not an intensive workout and is intended for all levels. It will help you to relieve stress, anxiety, aches and pains, relieve health conditions and strengthen your body, mind and spirit. It can help you to release trapped emotions in your body's energy centers and allow you let go of control.

You will set your intention in the beginning of the session. At the end, we will discuss how you feel and what you may want to focus on for your next session. We will discuss your favorite poses and which ones you may like to incorporate at your next session.
Each session is customized to support your specific needs.
We provide a high quality yoga mat, foam blocks and straps.
Please dress comfortably and bring your own towel.
